Ah, the joy that comes with being in Sea point. You’re always surrounded by a restaurant, the beach, a spa, or even mini-golf. But don’t get too overwhelmed. We’ve limited some of your options and listed the five-must-do activities when you’re in Seapoint!
Swim in Saunders Rock.

The ocean in Saunders Rock is fairly rough, and aside from the bravest of local surfers, most avoid venturing too far into the water. The shoreline may be rocky, but for those eager to cool off from the heat, there is a nice spot hidden at the very end that is a particularly pretty sight at sunset and a place where you can meet some very interesting locals.
Walk along the Promenade

The best activity you can do to get some sunlight is to run or walk along the seamless and safe Promenade. The route is about a ten-kilometer (six-mile) walk or jogs while having a great view of the Atlantic when you get your daily exercise in.
Personally, I recommend getting there at the crack of dawn to catch a glimpse of the magnificent sunrise in the morning. Most people are not out-and-about during this time, so it's a perfect chance for you to catch the world at its freshest and the ocean at its most radiant.
Visit the Labyrinth.

The Green Point Urban Park is a relatively new public space in Cape Town. With it being free to enter and the park being regularly, and I must say, immaculately maintained, the park includes several points of interest that make it well worth the trip to explore. Including an urban gym, a playground for any little ones that you might bring along, and an informative nature walk for younger members of the family.
Tucked away at the western corner of the park is the 'labyrinth' where you can go for some quiet time. Or if you or your partner need some time to yourselves. Don't worry; we won't tell anyone if you don't!
Do some shopping.

Although you will rarely step off the Promenade unless you really, really have to, you'll be generously rewarded by the numerous hidden gems that lay just outside the beaten path. Along a busy stretch inland that runs parallel to the ocean, named Sea Point Main Road aptly, there are a number of notable attractions to catch your intrigue and ones that I recommend experiencing at least once on your trip.
In particular, I recommend heading down to the newly refurbished Artem Centre and looking for a store named SANS. They are immaculate in providing you with organic vegetables from farms, a small batch of wine and spirits made in local vineyards, beauty products, and more. If you're looking for something to send home, here is the first place I would stop at!
Clothes, books, and works.

I would argue that the only thing I find slightly better than shopping for food, although you really should try their local stores, is the numerous thrift stores and bookshops in the area. There are liberal hundreds of them! All with a different style and vibe.
You can find mastercraft clothing, linens, fibers, or small little antiques at thrift stores at Bargains Galore just off Regent Road. There is no denying that there is an ongoing thrifting culture occurring in Cape Town, but Sea Point takes it to another level entirely.
Regardless of whether you are a visitor or have lived here your whole life. Seapoint is always filled to the brim with new places to see and new surprises just waiting around each corner. And with keeping these ideas in mind, Sea Point will quickly become a destination that will never leave your mind once you've experienced the suburb. It will very quickly become a place that is far more deserving of just a short visit every once in a while.
But I think you'll realize this soon enough once you get there.
